Reason for introducing the system
• Power consumption by steelmakers and the power unit price has been increasing every year.
• All air conditioners in the electricity room are operated to ensure a temperature below the optimum temperature (26℃), resulting in waste of power.
• Application of an IoT system enables not only the activation of the required air conditioners for optimum temperature control to reduce power consumption, but also the establishment of an integrated air conditioner control system that can detect the condition and status of air conditioning facilities.
